Weir View and part Portagabra Trail

This walk initially follows the Mundaring Weir View Trail to the lookout, then continues briefly on the Bibbulmun Track, before heading eastward into historic Fred Jacoby Park (off Mundaring Weir Rd), and past a giant oak tree, to link into a small section of the Portagabra Trail. Pass rocky outcrops and through mixed jarrah and marri forest, with some wandoo, and abundant Xanthorrhaea (balgas) and zamia palms. Return through the Park and then through 500m of open forest to return to the Discovery Centre.

This walk is suitable for adults and accompanied children (6 years and over). There are some steep slopes and steps to negotiate.
