Getting There

Perth Hills Discovery Centre
Beelu National Park, Mundaring

Driving

The Expo at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre is about a 45-60 min drive from Perth city via either Mundaring or Kalamunda, and is located at the end of Allen Road. There is no public transport to the venue so we encourage car pooling.

Parking

Public parking off Allen Road is limited in the immediate vicinity of the Expo and parking along the roadside and on verges is prohibited, but there is ample public parking in multiple parking areas within 1km.

We recommend drivers park within Frank Jacoby Park (entry off Mundaring Weir Road) which has the largest parking capacity, including a large open parking area on the left less than 100m from the Park entry. From there, catch the Expo’s regular shuttle bus service (details below) which will pass about every 15 min throughout the duration of the Expo to get you to and from the Expo hassle-free. Alternatively it’s only a 15 minute (1km) walk from the main Frank Jacoby carpark to the Expo. If walking, take care not to walk on the road;  there are no footpaths along the 400m section of Allen Rd.

Traffic controllers will be on duty to avoid any congestion and will redirect vehicles to other parking areas if the carparks nearest to the Expo site fill to capacity. Allen Road will be temporarily closed to entering traffic if those carparks are filled.

Other parking areas include the Rose Garden area loop road near the western end of Weir Village Road. The shuttle bus will also pick-up and return Expo visitors there
